image New Members of the European ME Alliance

June 2017


Recently the European ME Alliance met in London for its 2017 Annual General Meeting. The events took place following the Invest in ME Research Conference week consisting of research Colloquium and Conference events.

Amongst the other business at the meeting was the acceptance of applications from two more members.

EMEA unanimously accepted these two applications.

L''Association Francaise du Syndrome de Fatigue Chronique (ASFC) is the leading French organisation, and accredited by the Ministry of Health and Sports

ASFC is accepted as a Full Member of EMEA and is the main EMEA member for France in the Alliance and has votong rights.

Also accepted at the AGM was the application for Associate Membership from Hope 4 ME & Fibro Northern Ireland. Hope 4 ME & Fibro Northern Ireland is a charity registration number NIC100184.

EMEA is moving to a new website shortly (one of the actions from the recent AGM) and more details will be available then.

Meanwhile EMEA welcomes ASFC and Hope 4 ME & Fibro to the Alliance and looks forward to a productive collaboration as we make rapid progress in researching and treating ME. .

This brings EMEA's membership to 14 countries and 15 members. countries.
